Fließpressen (SMC/LFT)

Die Simulation des Fließpressprozesses von diskontinuierlich verstärkten Kunststoffen hat das Ziel die Formfüllung einer bewegten Werkzeugkavität zu beschreiben.

Wir beschäftigen uns mit dem Herstellungsprozess von langfaserverstärkten Thermoplasten (LFT) und Sheet Molding Compound (SMC). Bei der Simulation wird der Fließvorgang unter Berücksichtigung der Prozessparameter und Materialkennwerte betrachtet. Dadurch können Füllzustände, Faserorientierungen und Prozesskräfte vorhergesagt werden.
