Motivation:

Global warming and the need to move the entire raw materials management system towards circularity require the development of bioeconomic value chains. There are enormous raw material potentials lying idle around the world that have not yet been technically or economically manageable.

Objective:

As a key element for a successful bioeconomy, the project therefore aims to develop a self-propelled baling press that can be used to press highly compacted raw material bales with a density of over 500 kg/m³ with dimensional accuracy. The baler is intended to create the basis for a new harvesting and logistics solution for the efficient use of globally available biomass potential.
