  • Mobile machines are complex systems and represent a combination of many different engineering disciplines such as mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics or control engineering, the interaction of which makes the performance and functions of such a machine possible in the first place. This interaction complicates the simulation of such machines. This article therefore presents a proposal for a standardized procedure that can be used to simulate a mobile machine across company boundaries. The basis for this is the idea of a platform on which the simulation is to be carried out.
