Load-collective drive train for mobile machines
The requirements of mobile machinery are becoming increasingly complex. New developments constantly demand an increase in drive and work performance in order to increase machine productivity.
The drivetrain plays a central role in mobile machinery, through which up to 90% of the available power can flow, depending on the type of machine. The drivetrain of mobile machinery is designed very individually based on the type of machine and the area of application. Mechanical, hydrodynamic and hydrostatic transmissions, which are often combined, have become established and proven in today's mobile machinery. In order to meet market requirements such as weight reduction or improved efficiency, the availability of the individual components during operation must be guaranteed during development. This can be ensured using the fatigue strength calculation method, for example.
As part of the project Load spectra of the drive train of mobile machines, the basic principles for dimensioning a hydrostatic drive are to be created. The basic principles include various load spectra of the drivetrain and the axle load, which are required to calculate the fatigue strength of the individual components within the drivetrain. The load spectra are generated from measurement data recorded with a telescopic handler on farms under real operating conditions. The aim is to transfer the results to machines with the same work spectrum by means of suitable standardisation of the load spectra.
Subsequently, a fatigue strength calculation will be carried out on two components of the transfer gearbox as an example.
