On February 15, the 6th conference“Hybrid and Energy-efficient Drives for Mobile Machines” took place at the AkademieHotel. You can find a short report on the conference here.
The 7th symposium will take place on February 20, 2019 in Karlsruhe.
Since its inception in 2007, the event has enjoyed continuous interest with over 200 participants and in 2017 presented itself as an established discussion forum for hybrid and efficiency-enhancing drive technologies.
A new focus of the upcoming conference is the topic of drive technology in the context of “Industry 4.0”. The discussion will focus on topics such as networking (smart and connected systems), control (intelligence), energy efficiency and hybridization:
- Energy efficiency with
- electric drive technology
- Hydraulic drive technology
- Hybrid drive topologies
- Energy and power storage
- Control and regulation technology
- Operating strategies
In addition, the key technological and economic driving factors of the drive technology aimed at or already implemented will be presented in the lectures.
The conference is sponsored by the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V., the Chair of Mobile Machinery at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Wissenschaftlicher Verein für Mobile Arbeitsmaschinen e.V. Karlsruhe.
We would like to draw your attention to the large exhibition area during the conference.
This will give companies the opportunity to make contacts with participants during the conference and to engage in interesting discussions with them.
As there have been several requests in previous years to focus on this, we would like to fulfill this wish for the participants at this conference.
