KonZwi – Constant pressure system with intermediate pressure line

  • Contact:

The KonZwi joint project aims to improve the efficiency of the working system of a mobile machine by means of a special system design. This involves modifying a known constant pressure system in such a way that the throttling losses that occur when cylinders are activated today can be reduced. The system is to operate with an intermediate pressure so that the driving pressure level can be adapted in stages to the load of the consumer, thus reducing the necessary throttling losses in control valves. The hydraulic accumulator of the intermediate pressure level can also be used to store energy and is therefore the key component of the new system. In this way, an improvement in the overall efficiency can be achieved by reducing the throttle losses for controlling the cylinder and temporarily storing energy that is not required. In addition, the energy from pulling loads can be stored and utilised again later.
