1200 kW, 440 kN 4WD-Dynamometer with acoustic panelling for passenger cars, utility vehicles and mobile machines up to 40 t empty weight
The 4WD-Acoustic-Chassis-Dynamometer covers a wide range of different vehicles: From passenger cars and vans to mobile work machines, Sven the largest vehicles can enter the test bench through the hinged doors and be examined. Thanks to the four individually driven rollers, almost all conceivable scenarios can be realized: performance measurements, functional tests, dynamic tests, efficiency/fuel consumption, driving and work cycles, assistance systems, acoustics/NVH and much more.
The test bench has a variety of function modes such as tractive force and speed control, road simulation or the integration of individual simulations, for example via IPG CarMaker/TruckMaker. Thanks to the four individually controllable rollers, differential speeds/torques between the wheels and axles are also possible. A pull-down device allows variable loading of the axles to simulate additional loads.
The test stand is supplemented by extensive measurement technology as well as operation in combination with a driving robot and a PTO brake to display work cycles.
