Development and programming of automated pre- and post-processing routines in Abaqus/CAE

Motivation
In order to be able to carry out forming simulations of fabrics, the material must first be characterized experimentally. The data obtained from this serves as the basis for the parameterization of the material models. As a rule, this parameterization is carried out via inverse fitting using finite element models (FE models). In this process, the experimental tests are mapped in FE software and the parameters of the material models are adjusted until they match the test data as closely as possible. This requires extensive parameter studies, often involving hundreds of simulations. However, manual construction of the simulation models and manual evaluation of the results are no longer practicable with this scope.
As part of this activity, scripts are to be developed that facilitate the automated model construction of experimental in Abaqus/CAE in Abaqus/CAE. The scripts should have a modular design so that they can be applied flexibly to different types of experiments. Similarly, scripts are to be developed that automate the evaluation of simulation results and enable efficient analysis of the desired parameters.
