The aim of the GUSMA project - Coupled Cross-Company Simulation of Mobile Machinery for the Virtualization of Product Creation - is to develop a method for easy-to-use, coupled simulation of an entire machine from partial models of different disciplines such as electrics or electronics, control technology, mechanics or hydraulics. The exchange of models is to be carried out across companies and the coupling based on a standardized procedure. The standard is to be defined in the project. In the project, the model of a tractor front axle suspension, which consists of the sub-models mechanics, hydraulics and control technology, is set up as an example. Particular attention is to be paid to protecting the know-how of the submodels in the cross-company simulation.
