    Please note: there are some changes for the summer semester 2025 that affect not only the new but also the old degree programmes: The two courses ‘Principles of Whole Vehicle Engineering I’ from winter semester and ‘Principles of Whole Vehicle Engineering II’ from summer semester must be examined by a combined exam from summer semester 2025. For those who have already taken part I or part II in the past, there will be a re-exam for the missing part.

Learning Outcomes

The students have an overview of the fundamentals of the development of automobiles.

They know the development process, the national and the international legal requirements that are to be met. They have knowledge about the thermos management, aerodynamics and the design of an automobile. They are ready to judge goal conflicts in the field of automobile development and to work out approaches to solving a problem.
